Our silk scarves and lavallières are printed and hand-rolled in Lyon, by partners devoted to preserving French craftsmanship. Woven in a 12-momme silk twill, our scarf reveals an exceptionally soft fabric more fluid and less slippery than traditional scarves.
Each 100% silk lavallière (necktie scarf) is printed in Lyon in a factory certified "Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant" (Living Heritage Company), then hand-rolled in a family-run workshop in the Lyon region — a symbol of French craftsmanship.
The lavallière is a slender, elongated piece born from the tradition of the feminine bow tie. More intimate than a square scarf, it can be tied, draped, and reinvented — worn as a soft knot around the neck, in the hair, or as a slim belt. In silk, it takes on an incomparable lightness and drape.
Born from Angélique's love of Italy, where she once lived, this lavallière is inspired by the mythical mosaics of Pompeii. Mediterranean fish come to life through meticulous gouache work and collages, in the spirit of Matisse's cut-outs. A piece at the crossroads of art and fashion.
Small (5×90 cm): ideal for a knot at the collar or in the hair. Large (10×180 cm): more volume, more possibilities — a generous knot, a belt, a poet's style.

How do I care for a silk scarf?
To care for your silk scarf, we recommend dry cleaning but you can also wash it very gently by hand in cold water. Start with cold water and a mild soap, then iron it while still damp on the silk setting (no steam). To dry it, lay your scarf flat on a towel away from direct sunlight and avoid wringing the silk.
How do I style a silk scarf?
