Our silk scarves and lavallières are printed and hand-rolled in Lyon, by partners devoted to preserving French craftsmanship. Woven in a 12-momme silk twill, our scarf reveals an exceptionally soft fabric more fluid and less slippery than traditional scarves.
Our squares are 100% silk, printed in Laval, in a Living Heritage (Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant) factory. The finishing is hand-sewn using the hand-rolled hem technique — a savoir-faire from the Lyon region — in a family-run workshop.
The 1970s, sun, swimming pools; the world of Slim Aarons meets that of David Hockney. The pool floats draw on the colors of Oxford and Cambridge, and the water's surface echoes Hockney's signature play of light.
A personal square, too: Angélique wove in places and dates close to her heart, including her parents' birth dates.

How do I care for a silk scarf?
To care for your silk scarf, we recommend dry cleaning but you can also wash it very gently by hand in cold water. Start with cold water and a mild soap, then iron it while still damp on the silk setting (no steam). To dry it, lay your scarf flat on a towel away from direct sunlight and avoid wringing the silk.
How do I style a silk scarf?
Our scarves offer endless ways to elevate any outfit. Wear them around the neck for an elegant, timeless touch, knotted at the wrist for a bohemian feel, or even in your hair for a fresh, modern look.
