A custom scarf for Engage Summit . A corporate gift made in France.
This month, we had the honor of creating a custom scarf for Engage Summit. For one week each year, the most creative and innovative names in the luxury wedding and events industry come together.
They meet every year in exceptional locations, and this time it was on the French Riviera.
Together, we imagined a silk square entirely hand-drawn and conceived as a true postcard of the South.
In this design, I wanted to capture a sun-drenched mood — an invitation to travel between the sea and Mediterranean cuisine.
I chose to weave in a very dolce vita atmosphere through a collage of iconic elements from the South: a Méhari and a Vespa, the classic ways of getting around; lavender, to recall the scents in the air; lemons and tomatoes, fruits that ripen in the sun; and an Italian coffee pot, a nod to slow, fragrant mornings.
As the composition unfolds, I tried to capture the rhythm of a long lunch that never quite ends — a generous plate of pasta, a martini with its olives, a game of backgammon. Then came the seaside details: a sardine, a scallop, a shrimp, a swimmer, a starfish, and a grand sailboat, symbols of travel and true vacation.
The last detail, and not the least: champagne. Because that festive spirit and the pleasure of coming together are part of Engage Summit's DNA too.
This project is, above all, a tribute to conviviality and togetherness — the same values that drive both Engage Summit and Amicalement Soi. A beautiful way to translate these one-of-a-kind gatherings into silk.
