Lavallière LOCKDOWN – Yellow

During the confinement, the windows became our only access to the outside world. Behind each window was a story. I went back to my travel diaries and photos to recreate these small openings to the world in collages.

Our silk is printed in Laval. Then comes the finishing of our scarves, which are hand-sewn using the roulotté technique (an unavoidable savoir-faire from Lyon) in our factory in Auvergne.

The choice of a natural material such as silk was very important to us. Silk is known to be a precious fibre, appreciated for its softness, its resistance and its thermoregulatory properties (it keeps warm in winter and cools in summer). Above all, you should know that silk never attacks your skin.

To maintain your scarf, you can wash it by hand (cold water and mild soap and ironing on silk option) or entrust it to your dry cleaner (preferring ecological dry cleaners, friends)
